Prague is beautiful in the summer of course. You can visit areas like Naplavka, Letna beer garden, Riegrovy sady or Kampa island. But unfortunately summer is over here in Prague and we are getting very close to the winter time. It is also very unique time of the year in Prague, especially around Christmas. Here is few tips what to do in Prague when its just too cold to let yourself go out.
1. Lucerna cinema
Prague has loads of places where you can watch movies. The brand new movies you can watch in the main shopping malls in Prague like Novy Smichov or in Slovansky Dum. But the unique places with real Prague atmosphere are much better. Here is one of the best one in Prague. Kino Lucerna.
Kino Lucerna – this very tradiotinal cinema is located just off the Venceslas square in Lucerna pasaz. It is very easy to find as the entrance is just by the statue of up side down horse made by David Cerny.
The cinema itself was opened in 1909 and is the oldest still playing cinema in Europe. It is very beautiful inside and you can feel the atmosphere of an old Prague there. They play new movies so as older popular movies.

2. St. Nicholas church
This baroque church in the heart of Lesser town is very special for its acustic inside and also the organ that has over 4000 pipes and they are over 6 metres tall. When Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived in Prague he was playing his symphonies in this church.
They still organize concerts of classic music once in a while so if you are a fan of classic music visiting this church is a must.

3. National Theatre
National theatre is a main stage of the Czech Republic. It is also a symbol of national identity because the reconstruction after it burned down was paid by people of Prague. Very unique building right next to the river Vltava shows a lot of plays in English. You can find all types of genres from Opera, ballet to drama. It is a great place to visit during the winter months and enjoy the atmosphere of this magnificent building.

4. Fashion outlet arena
If you are into shopping and you want to save a bit of money while buying good brand clothing, make sure you visit the outlet arena in Prague. It is located in Sterboholy area right next to Prazsky Okruh, which is the main traffic ring that goes around the whole city.
The arena is open from 10am to 8pm and there is a direct bus from the city centre that runs every half an hour from the station at Na Porici 28, very close to the Republica Square.
They offer free wifi and you can literally spend whole day there looking for good priced clothes.

5. I Like Veggie tour
And of course for the whole winter you can join the I Like Veggie food tour that takes you to 5 different restaurants where you will try 7 different courses of heathy and delicious food and beverages. The tour takes off in Old Town and you also see main sights of the area like Republica Square, Venceslas square, head of Franz Kafka, Astronomical clock and Old Town square.
